WORK HOURS:  7:00 AM ? 3:30 PM MONDAY ? FRIDAY, OVERTIME, CALL-INS AND WEEKENDS MAY BE REQUIRED

JOB SUMMARY: The successful candidate will perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and rebuilds on all manufacturing and facility equipment as needed. Assist with installation and start-up of manufacturing equipment. Work closely with production personnel to resolve machine issues and improve productivity and quality. Must have past welding, mechanical and electrical experiences as a minimum and PLC knowledge.
Knowledge/Experience:
Four years of experience in the mechanical or electrical trades, including two years equivalent to a Maintenance Mechanic.
Special Skills:
Knowledge of use and care of tools used in and carpentry trades including voltage meters, drills, saws, drill press, and basic hand tools. Knowledge of mechanical operation and maintenance procedures for building equipment such as motors, pumps, appliances as needed to perform preventative maintenance and repair/replacement of equipment.
 
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
? Responsible for all mechanical and some electrical repairs
? Solving problems efficiently within a reasonable time frame
? Knowledge of electrical systems
? Good understanding of electricity and current
? Knowledgeable with 480v and 277v, 3 phase, breakers, disconnects, motor starters,  transformers
? The ability to test equipment to determine its functionality
? Knowledgeable with high output power supply functions & repairs. (600V variable frequency 40-80kHz)
? Knowledgeable in control wiring practices using 24vac, 24vdc, and 110vac 6.
? Familiar with PLC's and having the knowledge to describe the typical structure and layout in detail
? Ability to modify circuits to accept changes such as remote on/off, gauging, current limit, circuit isolation, extra/new switches, new branch circuits, i/o modification, terminal assignments, sizing of motor starters and protection, extra devices, etc
? Familiar with the use of electrical testing equipment
? Follow all Safety rules LOTO, PPE, etc.
? PM Equipment
HVAC experience a plus
? Troubleshoot and repair equipment
Technical Requirements:
? Strong Mechanical skills
? Good Electrical skills-Familiar with troubleshooting motors, contactors, heat controls (simple circuits) 480 volt
? Strong Fabrication skills using shop equipment-welder, cutting torch, mill, presses, etc.
Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions along with basic math skills.
Use commons tools, measuring instruments, read electronic and mechanical gauges, and machine setup devices.
 
Hours
Monday thru Friday 7am to 3:30pm
Technician must be able to respond promptly to call ins during off shift hours and weekends.
Technician must be flexible to work overtime when need by the company

Authorized to work in the U.S, must pass E-verify
Able to pass a drug test and background check
